During the Dallas rally, I noticed Josef with his yarmulka carrying his sign. In the sea of people, perhaps there were other Jews who were participating in the pro-Palestine anti-occupation rally, but Josef stood out with his yarmulke. I had a small exchange with him on why he supported Palestine.
We have a saying in Urdu, "Qatra Qatra Banay Samandar." It means one drop combined with another drop becomes sea. I told Josef that he was raised by a great mother where he was taught that theft and genocide were wrong. I can't say the same for Benjamin Netanyahu. I pray that there are more Jews like Josef and Rabbi Weiss who condemn the killing of Palestinians and the theft of their land. A'meen. And yes, I and those I associate with, do not support the killing of any innocent - regardless of faith. None of us support Hamas - it's a covert terrorist group created by Israel for clandestine terror activities. My group sincerely believes that. We also sincerely believe that Israel is a Terrorist State out to nab land and kill people for it.
Whoever does good, whether male or female, and is a believer, We will surely bless them with a good life, and We will certainly reward them according to the best of their deeds. [Quran 16:97]
